Welcome To My Nightmare
I find the whole state of affairs in this
country not only ridiculous but to be running joke amidst other countries as
well, and I find myself feeling somewhat embarrassed on a daily basis as a
result. It's just to much at times and I can only shake my head at the news I'm
hearing periodically.
I shake my head not at the news agency
itself, but the deeds of humanity via with tragic stories of the innocent kids
being stalked by the pedophiles and murderers running rampant in the abusing of
our court systems.
Yes, the home grown idiots that half
heartedly are attempting to blow things up, nuts shooting at the White House in
the name of God and lastly, the break down of communications and stubbornness of
our Congress in not having the ability to find resolution to anything actually
good for this Country.
It's a sad day for America, a day that I
thought would never be yet, It's in my face everyday, in the faces of 300
million other Americans and the world, everyday. Corruption, back room deals,
bills and laws that mean nothing and endless scandal's occurring within the very
law enforcement agencies that the American people entrusted to uphold our laws,
but apparently didn't.
This is a country where the Criminal
seems to have more rights then the Victim and the liar more credibility then the
person telling the truth. A place where lying is covered under the United States
Constitution via the First Amendment and morally bankrupt people hold the
highest offices in the land.
A Country where peaceful Protesters are
met with violence, pepper spray and percussion grenades simply because the riot
police felt taped or otherwise by a group of unarmed civilians sitting in a
circle chanting “Peaceful', “Peaceful”, “Peaceful”. Excuse me while I laugh my
ass off here, come on guys you have to do better than this.
Pity and influence peddling, smearing
campaigns, alluding the issues, evasive answers and a Congress that takes more
vacations then anyone I know during the most dire times that I've ever seen in
this Country's history.
Forgetting the past runs rampant these
days and not knowing where were going into the future, is the call of the day,
the endless threats of government shut downs simply because no one can agree on
anything is the most amazing thing that I've ever seen in my life.
Tax issues that won't be resolved for a
couple of years and still yet, to little way to late coming from our leaders. A
Fifty Trillion dollar national deficit and people in high places wanting to
default on it, some of the same people that attempted to blame this Countries
economic melt down on the American people, lol.
Promises made and broken in the same
breath by those in power and endless finger pointing or blame shifting around
ever corner seems to be the business as usual these days, Am I wrong? I don't
think so. One Administration passing the nightmares of the last to another over
and over again as the American people are continually offered up as the
sacrificial lamb.
The thing that disturbs me the most is in
that these politicians do all that they do without the flinching an eyelid,
Those same politicians that don't care for anything or anyone but themselves and
or, getting voted back into office. Shedding innocent blood upon foreign lands
in battles soon forgotten and moreover, it's easy to spend tax dollars that not
yours to spend former Bush Administration, isn't it?
Once successful people now in the ranks
of the Homeless while apathetic uncaring others in lofty places cut the very
much needed necessities from impoverished poor while building to the treasuries
of the rich.
Class warfare is but a joke as there are
only two kinds of people these days being the rich and the poor that will soon
be nothing but the rich and the slaves that serve them and so, those of us once
in the middle have joined the ranks of the poor, to be sure. Crooked
politicians, botched elections, and to little done way to late in the realms of
health care and unemployment. Has the last train really left as can be heard in
the melodies Apple Pie One and Two?
Yes, welcome to my nightmare that's way
worse then anything Alice Cooper ever sang about. Why? The demons of greed and
lust are about every corner in this land, the intolerance and hate exist under
every bed while hiding in plan sight and if I believed in a Satan, I would
envision him spreading his wings wide in glee over the entire world in what
we've become as a Nation and world people.
Yes, it's every man for himself and
screw your neighbor is the battle cry these days, and every company is on the
take in trying to survive, it's all about self-preservation I guess. Does this
make it ok? I don't think so. No, GOUGING isn't the right thing to do no more
then playing billing games with a Client of a service just to squeeze a few for
dollars out of them while making it sound like it's all their
fault.
Dog is the word these days while
everyone is trying to get over on the next guy, is this what America is really
about? I hope not. Whatever happen to honesty, hard work, ethics and positive
and constructive thinking? Hell, since were on the positive attributes of man,
whatever happened to loyalty, family unity and common sense.
Let me make a prediction for all of you
out there concerning the future days ahead, If we can't get a handle on our
governments, and the way we live our personal lives then, not only will we
disappear as a nation, but as a race as well, and that's a fact. Now, I know
this post sounds a little on the gloomy side but it is, what it is, and the
truth is the truth, no matter how ugly it is when looking back at us in the
mirror.
I think that we should first address the
issue of corrupt leaders vie finding out who they are and then either using
impeachment process and making it stick, or simply voting them out of office.
Then we need to streamline our laws in where they actually serve the call for
justice instead of protecting the criminals on every level of society. If our
law makers won't respect our wishes then get rid of them as their no good for
the country any way.
Then we as a Nation, should look at
ourselves and decide what works for us and what doesn't and or, what's good for
us as a Nation and what isn't. We should understand that we are the masters of
our own destiny and not some guy leading us around like sheep, we are the home
of the brave, the intelligent and the free and thus, our country is our
responsibility for the most part, and not wholly the governments to run as they
please.
This is our damn land and it doesn't
belong to Wall Streets, banks, credit card agencies or to anyone in the Fortune
500 who feel that they can do whatever feels good to them in making the buck off
our pain, labor and sweat of the American people.
And listen guys, if you don't believe me
in that this is our Country then just stop buying from the cooperation and see
how long they last. If you don't like the way a cooperation runs itself, or how
it effects the environment, “Then Boycott Them” and then see how many huge
bonuses are handed out to the top CEO's at the end of the year.
If the “Job Makers” think that you are
of no great importance and further, that they should pay less taxes then you
then (Strike) and make yourselves heard, they will listen to you in the end. If
you think that outsourcing is a travesty then do something about it such as
modify the unions and Boycott companies that steal American Jobs by producing
their products in foreign lands using cheap or slave labor.
(BUY AMERICAN ONLY) and create jobs for
yourselves while letting large cooperation know that you won't tolerate the
outsourcing policies simply because it hurts the Country. Yet, understand that
the out of control Unions are the root problem in driving up the cost of the
product you buy from American Companies.
This is why companies outsource in the
first place in that they can make the maxim profit from minimal resource and
labor, a self-preservation technique. If your paying a guy $40.00 an hour to
change light-bulbs then of course, that will be passed to the Consumer via other
products being sold in that particular store, right?
If light-bulbs get to expensive and
people stop buying them, then the business has to find cheaper labor and
resource to produce the product so that they can stay in business and thus, they
move overseas where material and labor is the cheapest to produce the product
not to mention, lax regulations in production, safety standers and distribution.
The fact of the matter is in that we as
a people, have many avenues to pressure in forcing change against the failing
aspects of our system on every level. When the banks decided that they were
going to start charging everyone X number of dollars to use their debit and
credit cards, people weren't going to stand for this gouging practice and they
rose up against it, the banks back off as a result.
Another example of causing effective
change is through the vetoing process as this directly targets the who gets into
office and whom doesn't, Omit Pushing for TRANPARENCY in the activities of both
governmental and the private sector will keep everyone honest while yielding a
clear a decisive track record of someone that holds office and or, the head of a
Cooperation.
I believe that Using Effective Options
For Change And Pinpointing The Problems Is Key here in resolving many of the
issues that we face here in America. Running around with aimless protest, or
resulting to violence only worsens the over all situation, or add immensely to
the preexisting problems that are currently unfolding.
Concerning the Congress, this is
obviously a major problem that seems to be hanging up the Country from moving
forward in finding the resolutions to this Country's issues, or economic
problems and so, this body of government should be closely scrutinized and
reformed through investigations into spending and ethics abuses.
Scrutinized
in the way of special committees with the capability to clean house, so to
speak. Regarding cuts in the National budget I would make some very radical cuts
in anything that the Country doesn't need and herein rest the problem as
everyone has their own definitions as to what the Country needs and what it
could do without.
This is why I feel that the President
should effectively Invoke Presidential Effective Privilege on the grounds of a
National Economic Crisis to over ride the Congress since it apparently has
imploded and can't find the common denominator concerning economic issues that
need our immediate attention.
In other words, when we start talking
about governmental shut down, deadlock, gridlock or otherwise that further
inhibits the government of a land in operating smoothly and or, places the
Citizens of that particular country in both psychical or economic jeopardy, then
this part of government becomes not only a hindrance to the whole but moreover,
something that exist to harm the whole by design.
Thereof, should be severed or removed
from the other working parts of the governing body in the interest of government
preservation until it can be restored to it original integrity, or function that
actually serves the country on the whole. This is done through the Effective
Order on the grounds of National Crisis, National Security.
Now, these suggestions might seem a
little radical or stringent yet, extreme situations call for extreme resolutions
especially when a goodly part of the government seems to be perpetually
deadlocked to the detriment of the United States on the whole.
This issue of the National debt crisis
seems to be stalemated in the governmental process on the congressional level
due to apparent impasses between states not wanting to give up something for the
long term longevity and the well being of the United States on whatever level.
Really, all the political games must
STOP as we all need to start thinking about getting around these issues via
working together. Unfortunately, the government has been weighed down and lost
touch with its people on day to day issues and so, this can only lead to
problems as we are experiencing today.
Washington D.C. Has become more attuned
with the wants and wishes of the Cooperation and their Lobbyist more so then to
the needs of the American people, and this can only lead to disaster in the end
with a guaranteed certainty.
I have hope for America and would love
to see it back to what it once was however I don't know if this is realistic
thinking on my part for the sole reasoning that it takes the efforts of both the
government and its nation of people to pull it off by working together in
getting rid of those things that will eventually bring a end to the free society
that we enjoy so much.
In these dire times that we all find
ourselves in, I would say that there's no room for arrogance, greed, pride or
stubbornness on either the parts as the American people, or on the parts of the
folks that we have put into office to lead our Nation. As I've stated in other
post, “ It doesn't matter where you wake up so much as it matters where you
decide to go to from there”
“It doesn't matter who's the blame here
more so, then can we find our way out from this dark place?” Basically, we have
become a Nation likened to a enemy unto ourselves that has grown blind to the
cliff that awaits us. Were so busy fighting for the right to drive that in our
hast, we both manage to miss seeing the cliff until we hurl ourselves over it
into the abyss.
With this I would say, it's better to live another day to
disagree rather then fight the force of wills that will eventually take us all
down in the end and hence, this ultimately serves no one including Ones self or
a Nation, Correct ?
Until we learn to get to the bottom of a
problem, or set of issues as a Nation, we will always waste our energies in
going after the obvious symptoms of the sickness without ever addressing the
sickness itself and so, the sickness will always remain despite our best
efforts.
Perhaps, one day I can awake from the
nightmare that I suffer in seeing my Country die piece by piece with each
passing second, minute and day, maybe we can all wake up from this nightmare one
day through the realization of who we are and where we want to go as a Nation, I
hope so.
Until then, I will do my part but the
question is, What will you be doing? My Wife Jan says that I carry the weight of
the world on my shoulders and that I should take it easy in my old age lol, but
if you and I don't do this, then who will ?
Stand with me everyone both in, and
out of government, and lets us “Get It Done” Who says there's no more supper
heroes in the world when I see them everyday when I look at you. Jan and I are
your biggest Fans Humanity, but we do believe in tough love, so don't let us
down.
