A Personal Congratulations To President Obama And World Leaders
I
must say that I'm surprised and impressed in the leadership qualities
displayed in this matter of terrorism as every Nation and Leader that
came together in eradicating this menace or scourge to humanity.
Not
only did the world come together on this issue but handled it prudently
with caution and with text book accuracy. My hat goes off to all those
who stepped up to the plate and took the necessary steps in resolving
this tyranny inflicted on the innocent people of the world.
In
this present day, America finds itself in a economical quandary, and
there still seems to be a lot of finger pointing going on, not to
mention saber rattling and groaning amidst the ranks yet, if we all put
as much effort into solving these problems in all working together and
acting as one people, as we did on the matter of terrorism, then their
shouldn't be a problem in effectively addressing the economical problems
we face currently.
It's
all about working together, diplomacy and combining, and re-directing
our forces towards the problems at hand rather than scattering our
energies to the wind and getting nothing done as a result. We can see
what occurred when we started working with each other and our friends
over seas, correct? Why can't we continue this process here at home?
Terrorism,
was a major problem for the last decade plus yet, by working together
we pretty much beat it down in a matter of eight months, and how awesome
is this? It is very apparent that America can still be a great Nation
when we put our backs into it by cooperating with one another, agreed?
I
personally haven't felt such hope and joy for this Country in a long
time as I do right now given this last, and most current
accomplishment. I can only hope that we can continue to move into the
future in this same positive way with the previous conflicts that we
have left behind us.
Again,
I would like to commend President Obama and his entire administration
for their exemplary and professional handling of the ongoing problem of
terrorism. Even though I despise war and all the atrocities that comes
with it, I understand that it is sometimes it's necessary to fight fire
with fire when all else fails.
Even
though the job of Presidency isn't as easy as some might think it to
be, and even in light that he has received unwarranted criticism from
all sides, I find myself hoping that he will be re elected for another
term for a couple of different reasons as follows.
The
first reason being that he is a man that listens to reason and acts out
on it with courage. He is a compassionate and respectful individual
who considers all things before jumping into any matter headlong and
lastly, a man that is dedicated in resolving the issues we face in a
fair and mutual way for all the classes that exist here in America.
I
believe President Obama to be a honest and hard working President whom
faces great opposition everyday from those who do not have all the facts
and further, fail to see the big picture at times. A president who
has been disrespected time and time but nevertheless, keeps his eye on
the prize despite this harsh criticism coming from the less informed.
But
there again, not every leader will be loved or hated yet, this isn't
the leader's number one priority as much as it is getting the job done.
As I've said time and time again, in that I don't agree with everything
this President proposes but there again, I'm not privy to the facts he
sees before him, and I'm only going off of half the story concerning the
issues that confront us as a Nation.
I
do however wish that transparency would be more fourth coming so that
I, like so many others could be better informed in our outlook
concerning various matters that effect us all directly. I also earnestly
hope that the American people could be given a larger part in deciding
our futures via being given the facts and the opportunity to vote
frequently on the matter of these given issues.
Basically,
I think we have a wonderful President however, one can only do so much
a four year period of time and not everything can be fixed, or changed
overnight as so many would have it. As far as I'm concerned, everyone
needs to get out of the way and allow this President to do his job
without blocking, being overly critical of his efforts, and or hindering
him at every turn, as this only harms the Nation instead of helping it
out of the predicament we now find ourselves in.
I'm
all for disagreeing with the President if we find something that will
actually harm the Country over all, but we have to keep personality
conflicts out of the the game, or severing our own self interests.
Actually, it would be more helpful to the American public to know why a
bill was blocked specifically instead of just being told that the bill
was blocked and not given a reason why.
I
also believe, that a given bill should be posted in its entirety so
that the public could read, and vote on it in a effort to give the
Nation better access in the things of great importance to us, what is
beneficial to us and what isn't.
But
over all, I think we have a great President that needs America's full
support rather then being so critical of everything the man says and
does at every turn. I'm sure he ran for office simply because he was
interested in making the United States a better place to live, a
stronger and equal country for all the classes, and not for any other
reasons.
It's
a absolutely crazy notion that he is there to destroy the Nation as
some have stated and so, I won't even go into to this general paranoia
as it's not even worth dictating. In my opinion, I've seen this
President giving it his all and yes, his actions or accomplishments
speak louder then words, so let's not be so quick to judge him until
he's at the very least, finished with his term.
Now
that we've pretty much beaten down "Al Quaeda" and hence we can now fix
our eyes on more important matters such as employment and other equally
important issues. Hopefully the members of Congress and the senate can
work with the President instead of working against him in the future
days to come, as the very survival of this country is at stake.
Besides,
were not choosing up sides for a game of valley ball out on the beach
somewhere moreso than attempting to save the land that we all love,
correct? A united Country was the way it was the last time I checked
here not to long ago. Have the game rules changed? I sincerely hope
not.
Lastly,
to the Congress and Senate, it would most certainly help if you could
educate your constitutes in why your rejecting a policy, or suggested
bill rather then just leaving us all in the dark. In short, if something
isn't good for the nation then you should take it to the press or
Internet, and let us know why it isn't good for us, public opinion is
the game changer as you all know.
