Congratulations To Egypt
Just when I think that there's no hope for humanity someone like you comes along and renews my faith. Perhaps, I was wrong about you and maybe your ready for Democracy however time will tell.
You stood by your beliefs, you fought for your rights through peaceful means for resolution, you have broken the cycle of violence that has existed in your land for thousands of years. This is what what being a civilized people is all about in finding new and positive ways to handle old problems.
Yes, people of Egypt, you have renewed my faith in humanity once again, and oh how great are you this day. Will you continue on into your future with hope and peace? I pray you do. You have fought for your freedom and won, but where will you go from here?
Remember, it's not important where you wake up and find yourself standing more then it matters where you decide to go to from there. Where will you choose to go now that you are free.
Will you stay free, or will another dictator simply take the place of the last? I hope you can move into the future with peace, freedom and prosperity while learning from past. It is in learning from our past mistakes that makes us special in all of creation.
To Mubarak, you have your many sins to answer for both against your people and to God however, you have shown honor and compassion in stepping down. If so, you have broken the cycle of fear and violence by doing so.
Sometimes, it takes a stronger man to relinquish control verses the weak man who tries to hang on to something that was never his to begin with. All nations should learn from this in that oppressive tyranny will no longer be tolerated in the year 2011.
Governments of the world are placed on notice that the world is changing, and that business as usual has come to an end. Both governments and peoples alike must grow from this day forward, together and as one people.
Egypt, there is much work left to do however, you have the admiration of the world at this point, along with my deepest respect. Congratulations to all in Egypt and we wish you all the best.
I would also like to thank the Obama Administration for using the greatest of prudence in staying out of this conflict and letting this nation resolve the problem of it's own accord.
We do not need to get into anymore conflicts that don't involve us and that's a fact. A great President, or King always has all the power to destroy but chooses not to use that power. This is the wisdom of a great President or King.
I commend President Obama and his wonderful staff for their conduct throughout this entire event. I also hope to see this same policy enacted in any further conflicts that don't evolve us. It's time for the world to take care of itself by resolving it's own problems instead of throwing all this responsibility on the shoulders of a few.
Again, the United Nations needs to take a more active part in resolving deadlocked situations through diplomatic resolutions or sanctions against a singular nation whom refuses to play by the rules. There will always be evil people in the world and thus, there must always be those whom are ready to stop them in their tracks.
I think the media has done a phenomenal job in reporting on this event and moreover I will go on to say that the media is a much needed factor in actually resolving global issues.
How? Simply by being there to document the story as it unfolds. How valuable is this? Lies are hard to weave when something is caught on film. A picture is worth a thousand words as they say lol.
